About the role

  • Virtual recruitment specialist developing campaigns and events attracting international students to the University of Alberta. Managing digital communications and recruitment platforms across the student recruitment cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements virtual international recruitment strategy.
  • Plans, organizes and executes virtual events.
  • Connects with faculty members to organize and implement faculty specific virtual events targeted at international students.
  • Reviews and enhances email communications flow to prospective international students.
  • Uses platforms for virtual recruitment, including Slate, Goodkind and the Ambassador platform.
  • Enhances international virtual recruitment communications to increase the number of qualified international students choosing to study at the University of Alberta.
  • Collaborates with colleagues across the university to enhance existing and implement new virtual activities and campaigns throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Attracts high-achieving international students and contributes to growing international student numbers.

Requirements

  • Relevant University Degree.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical skills that with enhance proliferation of our virtual recruitment strategy.
  • Engaging presentation skills and excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Resume and cover letter required for application.
