Responsibilities
- Write consistently and meet assigned deadlines
- Pitch ideas and work with editors to refine them
- Primarily pitch article ideas based on personal interests and expertise
- Stay up-to-date on the latest tech news, products, and updates
- Work within a CMS, adhering to style guidelines, finding and formatting images, and adding links
Requirements
- Relevant experience in writing and editing
- Self-starting attitude; willingness to pitch and work on ideas without prompting
- Knowledge across a variety of technology
- Updates to the latest versions and first-hand use of products, platforms, and gear are required
- Basic SEO knowledge is preferred
- Clear writing and understanding of the audience
- Application requires CV, cover letter, screening questions, and links to previously published work
- Cover letter must explain interest in writing for MUO, fit for the role, previous experience, and passion for home tech
