Responsibilities
- As the Senior Data Engineer, you will design, build, and optimize scalable, reliable data pipelines and platforms that enable analytics, reporting, and advanced data use cases.
- The role leads complex engineering efforts, ensures high standards for data quality and reliability, and partners closely with analytics, platform, and business teams to deliver trusted data products.
- This position plays a critical role in evolving the organization’s data architecture and engineering best practices.
- Design and implement data models using different modelling standards and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline
- 5+ years of industry experience in Data Engineering or related field handling data processing and transformation of disparate datasets
- Experience with big data and analytics programming languages such as Python, R, Spark in Databricks
- Experience with batch and real-time processing frameworks (EventHub, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, etc.)
- Willingness to work in a highly flexible environment with multiple competing priorities
- Proven ability to innovate and adapt to the latest development in area of expertise
- Ability to adapt and grasp new skills and content.
