Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of our platform across web and mobile applications.
- Design and execute test strategies, identify defects, and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams.
- Evolve and update our QA strategy covering functional, regression, and integration testing across web and mobile platforms.
- Build and maintain automated test suites that reduce manual testing effort and accelerate release cycles.
- Identify and document critical defects early in the development lifecycle.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to define acceptance criteria and ensure quality standards are met before release.
- Track and report on test coverage, defect trends, and quality metrics.
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
- Troubleshoot issues and verify fixes with developers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related testing role.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing frameworks, and defect lifecycle management.
- Proven experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
- Experience using AI tools to enhance the QA process.
- Skilled in writing clear, detailed test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
- Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for finding edge cases.
- Excellent communicator who can clearly articulate quality concerns and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of quality outcomes.
- Passionate about sustainability, innovative technology, and creating positive impact.
- Certifications like ISTQB or similar QA certifications are a plus.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Familiarity with mobile testing across iOS and Android platforms.
- Exposure to geospatial, environmental, or data-heavy platforms.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with tools like Jira.
