About the role

  • Part-time virtual assistant maintaining a Toronto coaching practice’s WordPress site and launching its social media presence. Creating branded content and marketing systems to attract new coaching clients.

Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain the existing WordPress website
  • Refresh outdated website content and update contact and business details
  • Fix broken or missing social media links
  • Maintain blog pages and upload new content
  • Suggest website improvements for user experience and lead generation
  • Establish the company's online presence and create and optimize social media profiles
  • Recommend social platforms based on the target audience
  • Manage weekly content calendars, scheduling, publishing, community engagement, and social media growth strategies
  • Create social media graphics, captions, branded marketing materials, educational content, and promotional content
  • Repurpose website content into social media posts and maintain consistent branding
  • Assist with website visibility, brand awareness, client acquisition, marketing best practices, online engagement, and future campaigns
  • Potentially support client onboarding, online intake forms, administrative tasks, appointment coordination, email management, and general virtual assistance as the business grows
  • Maintain regular communication with the client through Zoom, WhatsApp, and email

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of work experience
  • Strong WordPress experience
  • Website content management experience
  • Canva or equivalent graphic design tools
  • Basic Adobe Creative Suite editing
  • Social media management experience
  • Content writing skills
  • Digital marketing fundamentals
  • Basic SEO knowledge
  • Website optimization skills
  • Experience supporting coaches, consultants, therapists, mental health professionals, personal brands, small businesses, or service-based businesses preferred
  • Experience helping launch or grow a new business highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Responsive and reliable
  • Self-starter, creative, organized, detail-oriented, and professional
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Able to provide suggestions and recommendations
  • Willing to grow alongside the business
  • Strong website management experience
  • Confident creating content from scratch
  • Understanding of branding and marketing
  • Comfortable helping launch a business online
  • Clear and professional communication

  • Strategic thinking about attracting coaching clients
  • Availability for scheduled meetings and collaboration sessions
