IT Project Manager needed for a banking client in Toronto. 6 - month contract, hybrid work, $70/hr max.

- Technical Project Manager managing hybrid project execution and Ruby on Rails development at Reliance Automated Verified Leads Company. Collaborating with a global team on audience development and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily standups and team coordination
- Translate requirements into clear, actionable tasks (ClickUp)
- Maintain documentation and ensure delivery timelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders across a remote, global team
- Contribute to Ruby on Rails codebase (bug fixes, improvements)
- Optimize PostgreSQL queries and data handling (JSONB)
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Own roadmap for data ingestion and processing
- Ensure accurate mapping of new data sources
- Monitor Sidekiq queues and job processing
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in data pipelines
- Maintain high-quality, client-ready outputs (especially for law firms)
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL (including JSONB)
- Experience with Sidekiq or similar background job systems
- Proven ability to balance project management and development work
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
