About the role

  • Représentant des ventes chez WM, fournisseur de solutions environnementales, développant les ventes de destruction documentaire à Québec. Prospection, gestion du pipeline et conclusion des ventes sur un territoire assigné.

Responsibilities

  • Directly sell Shred-it’s document destruction services to prospective and existing customers within an assigned territory
  • Develop and manage a self-sourced sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, manage the sales cycle, close sales, and follow up through revenue realization
  • Define clear, measurable sales objectives with the District Sales Manager
  • Set monthly and annual targets
  • Develop and maintain a sales strategy for the assigned territory
  • Prospect through telephone calls, cold visits, appointment setting, and direct mail campaigns
  • Present Shred-it’s services and solutions to prospective and existing customers
  • Participate in training sessions, special projects, and promotional campaigns
  • Present daily activities and sales results to the District Sales Manager
  • Collaborate with customers and prospects to understand their needs
  • Build relationships with current and prospective customers and exceed their expectations
  • Follow security policies and procedures and report any concerns to management
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • The successful candidate must reside in the Quebec City, QC area and surrounding region
  • Postsecondary education preferred
  • One year of prior sales or prospecting experience in business services, with varied sales cycles and multiple levels of decision-makers
  • Attend all sales training and other training offered by Shred-it
  • Maintain a high level of expertise regarding Shred-it services and competitive solutions
  • Comply with company policies, standards, practices, and health and safety requirements
  • A REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative is required, or candidates must be willing to obtain one if business air travel or access to a federal property is required
