About the role

  • NET Azure Architect responsible for leading cloud-native application architecture at Workiy. Engaging with teams on Azure solutions and ensuring performance and scalability across environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure
  • Lead solution design for .NET / ASP.NET Core–based applications
  • Define architecture standards, best practices, and design patterns
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams
  • Guide teams on microservices architecture, API design, and integrations
  • Oversee cloud migrations from legacy or on-prem environments to Azure
  • Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments using Azure DevOps
  • Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and stakeholder meetings
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of experience in .NET application development
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs
  • Experience with Azure services such as: Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL / Cosmos DB, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus / Event Grid
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and cloud design patterns
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-facing skills
  • Prior experience in an architecture or technical lead role is preferred.
