About the role
- Senior Project Manager leading oncology clinical trials for Worldwide Clinical Trials, a global CRO. Coordinating trial delivery, budgets, multidisciplinary teams, and client expectations from start-up through closeout.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage clinical trials from start-up through closeout activities
- Direct the technical, financial, and operational aspects of projects
- Work with major functional area leads to identify and evaluate fundamental project issues
- Interpret data on complex issues and make business decisions
- Ensure solutions are implemented
- Ensure project deliverables meet customer time, quality, and cost expectations
- Collaborate with Project Management Directors and other functional area leads
- Ensure project deliverables meet customer and contract expectations
Requirements
- 6–7 years' industry experience with a minimum of 5 years in a Clinical Project Management role, within a CRO setting
- Oncology experience in a PM role is required
- University/College degree within Life Science is preferred
- Ability to travel when needed
- Thorough knowledge of project management processes
- Solid understanding of how to craft and manage a project budget
- Experience successfully managing and/or leading multidisciplinary project teams
- High level of responsibility and accountability
- Communication skills
- Ability to effectively perform in demanding situations
