About the role

  • Senior software engineer building integrations between Wrapbook’s AI production-finance platform and accounting, ERP, data, and AI systems. Owning pipelines, data contracts, observability, architecture, and production support for Canadian customers.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build integrations, APIs, and data exchange systems connecting Wrapbook with accounting, ERP, third-party, and AI-enabled systems
  • Own integration pipelines and SLAs end-to-end, ensuring reliable data movement with clear expectations and metrics
  • Define and manage data contracts protecting downstream integrations and analytics from upstream changes
  • Contribute through code reviews, ticket execution, and ownership of critical customer data issues
  • Collaborate with product, design, research, business development, and go-to-market teams to build secure, compliant integration experiences
  • Influence company-wide engineering roadmaps and integrations best practices
  • Provide technical direction through design reviews and pair programming
  • Establish observability across integrations for system-health monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Advocate for iterative development and experimentation analysis
  • Participate in an on-call rotation supporting production integration systems

Requirements

  • Deep technical expertise building integrations, APIs, and data exchange systems
  • Experience designing and developing data-centric systems, including ETL/ELT pipelines and data architecture
  • Familiarity with data lakes, BI systems, and iPaaS platforms is a plus
  • Strong coding fluency and hands-on experience with modern data/integration tooling such as Dagster, Airbyte, Airflow, dbt, or similar
  • Experience with Python and Rails
  • Experience with accounting systems and basic accounting principles is a plus
  • Ability to design scalable architecture balancing performance, cost, and governance
  • Experience partnering across product, data, compliance, and security
  • Comfort using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code
  • Experience building AI-enabled agents and MCP servers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with Scrum or Agile teams
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada or the United States; work-permit sponsorship may be required as disclosed in the application
