About the role

DaaS Services Engineer implementing and sustaining cloud data platforms and industrial data solutions at Yokogawa. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer outcomes and SLAs.

Responsibilities

Implement and sustain cloud data platforms and industrial data solutions end‑to‑end
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet customer outcomes and SLAs
Execute internal design, system build, and testing in support of solution road map
Develop and maintain documentation for pre/post‑implementation

Bachelor's Degree in related field or Equivalent Level of experience
Experience in providing customer support in an IT solutions environment
Familiarity with cloud data engineering and industrial data systems concepts
Experience working with cloud products and technologies
Familiarity with Relational Databases (e.g, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Familiarity with time-series data management
Knowledge of industrial protocols and data historians; (e.g., OPC DA/UA, MQTT, Modbus, COM/DCOM)
Experience with OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System a plus
Programming skills across various languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and architectures a plus
Experience providing training to small groups a plus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Willingness and ability to learn new tools quickly
Empathy to customers reporting software issues
Understanding of energy‑sector operations, particularly within oil & gas, refining, and petrochemical environments a plus
Ability to work well in a virtual team environment under supervision and willingness to assist others.
