About the role
- Talent Acquisition Specialist recruiting and onboarding educators for Zen Educate’s school-matching technology platform. Connecting paraprofessionals and substitute teachers with suitable school roles.
Responsibilities
- Qualify applicants by phone as they sign up
- Assess applicant preferences and schedule interviews
- Conduct initial phone interviews for open roles
- Match candidates with suitable school positions
- Explain Zen Educate’s mission and support for educators
- Create urgency to move applicants through the process
- Guide candidates through screening and document collection
- Follow up with candidates who need onboarding support
- Work flexibly in a fast-paced, changing startup environment
Requirements
- Background in customer service, recruitment, education, acting/theatre, or fast-paced startups is highly transferable
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Dedicated to proactive daily outreach
- Comfortable speaking to a high volume of people every day
- Motivated by hitting and exceeding targets
- Independent and self-motivated
- Able to manage a large pipeline of educators
- Strong prioritization, context-switching, and organizational skills
- Comfortable using Google Suite and AI tools
- Eager to adopt new tools and technology
- Proactive mindset; recent graduates encouraged to apply
