About the role

  • Commercial Account Broker at Zensurance providing guidance and customer experience for Canadian businesses. Managing existing clients and no cold calling or prospecting requires as leads are provided.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting and effectively onboarding new customers.
  • Carefully reviewing all new submissions and policy data for accuracy while managing complex policy changes.
  • Managing the existing book of business by issuing certificates and processing endorsements for large and complex accounts.
  • Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the current book of business to ensure a "Circle of Protection."
  • Processing remarkets to ensure clients consistently maintain the most competitive and comprehensive coverage available.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for mid-term reviews and year-round account maintenance.

Requirements

  • You hold a valid broker license for your province and have 1+ years of P&C experience. Previous commercial broking experience is strongly preferred.
  • CIP, CAIB, or CRM designation is a bonus.
  • You're skilled at translating complex insurance concepts into simple, clear language that clients appreciate.
  • Proven ability to utilize a BMS or other digital tools to streamline your workflows and manage high-volume client data.
  • You thrive working with colleagues, underwriting teams, and partners to achieve shared goals and deliver seamless service.
  • You approach challenges with persistence and agility, consistently meeting set targets and finding innovative solutions.
  • You have strong prioritization skills and demonstrated flexibility in managing a diverse portfolio of clients and tasks simultaneously.
  • You maintain a sharp attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all policy and account management processes.
