About the role
- AWS Data Engineer specializing in SageMaker Studio for banking industry. Design scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and drive AWS migration projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support analytics and reporting needs. Develop and maintain data models and data warehouse infrastructure to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. Collaborate with data analysts, BI engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver effective data solutions. Drive technology modernization initiatives including cloud migrations to AWS and other platforms. Optimize the performance, reliability, and security of data systems across cloud and on-premise environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and ETL development. Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing, automation, and scripting. Strong understanding of Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, and analytics concepts. Familiarity with AWS tools such as SageMaker, AWS Unified Studio, and other relevant data services. Proven experience with technology modernization and migration projects. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
