About the role
- Hiring Azure Data Platform Engineer in Toronto (Hybrid). Design scalable data architectures, develop ETL pipelines, and manage Azure data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data architectures on Azure. Develop and optimize ETL/data pipelines using Azure Data Factory & Databricks. Integrate data from multiple sources ensuring quality and consistency. Work with big data technologies like Apache Spark for large-scale processing. Manage data storage solutions (Azure SQL, Data Lake, Cosmos DB). Implement real-time/event-based data processing solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions. Support L1/L2/L3 operations and ensure system reliability.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Spark. Hands-on expertise in ETL, data ingestion, and data integration. Experience with Azure data storage services. Knowledge of streaming/event-driven architectures. Good communication and problem-solving skills.
