About the role

  • Hiring a Cyber Problem Management Specialist for a banking contract in Toronto. Conduct post-incident reviews, root-cause analysis, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for conducting post-incident reviews for cyber incidents globally, helping identify root causes, track action items, and support the bank in strengthening its overall security posture. This role involves chairing cyber incident post-mortem meetings, preparing incident reports, conducting root-cause analysis, tracking action items through ticketing systems, following up with owners, coordinating across regional and global teams, supporting reports and communications, facilitating discussions with technical teams and senior stakeholders, and supporting Spanish communication/translation when required.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience, 3+ years of cybersecurity experience (ideally around threats, incidents, investigations, or cyber operations), 3+ years of experience using reporting/productivity tools such as Power BI, strong experience with root-cause analysis, ability to prepare qualitative and quantitative reports, data flow diagrams, and presentations.
