About the role
- Data & Analytics Engineer role supporting data pipelines and analytics platforms. Contract position in Vancouver/Delta BC, primarily onsite with potential hybrid flexibility.
Responsibilities
- The Consultant will be responsible for supporting and stabilizing data pipelines, reporting, and analytics platforms across operational and finance-focused systems. Key responsibilities include: – Developing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL Server (2016/2022) databases – Building and supporting ETL pipelines using SSIS and related tools – Developing and maintaining reports using SSRS and/or modern BI platforms – Supporting data ingestion and orchestration using Airflow
Requirements
- Qualifications for this role include: – Strong hands-on SQL skills, including complex queries, performance tuning, and stored procedures – Experience with SSIS and SSRS – ETL and data pipeline development experience – Exposure to the GCP data ecosystem – Familiarity with Airflow – Solid understanding of data modeling fundamentals
