About the role
- Data Engineer – Business Intelligence (Healthcare) needed for a remote contract role based in New Brunswick, with monthly travel to the province.
Responsibilities
- The role involves designing, building, and operating modern data platforms supporting enterprise reporting and analytics, including data warehouses or lakehouses using layered architectures. The candidate will collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to translate business needs into data engineering or BI solutions, and implement data security and privacy controls aligned with healthcare regulatory expectations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive IM/IT experience with hands-on responsibility for data engineer or BI developer in a cloud-based environment. 7+ years working with healthcare data at a multi-facility or enterprise level. 7+ years with CIS data structures and reporting environments. 7+ years collaborating with stakeholders. 7+ years designing modern data platforms. University degree in IT, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 7+ years implementing data security and privacy controls.
