About the role
- Hiring Data Engineer for SAS to Python migration to Enterprise Data Lake for risk management. Toronto hybrid role, 12-month contract.
Responsibilities
- Lead data migration to Enterprise Data Lake (EDL) for risk management. Drive ETL workflows, automation, and job scheduling. Perform parallel validation (SAS vs Python) ensuring zero defects. Build data lineage, data dictionary, and audit-compliant documentation. Work on IFRS9 and credit risk datasets. Ensure seamless historical data integration and data integrity.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in SAS, Python, and SQL with migration experience. Hands-on with Hadoop (Hive, Pig) and SQL Server. Experience in big data, migration projects, and financial data platforms.
