Key responsibilities include designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, implementing build, test, security scanning, and deployment automation, managing artifact repositories and release/branching strategies, setting up monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards, implementing SRE practices (SLIs/SLOs where applicable), and supporting deployment strategies and rollback planning.
