About the role
- ETL Tester / AWS Data QA Engineer needed for a 12-month hybrid contract in Toronto, ON. Must have 8-10+ years experience in ETL testing, SQL, Python/Java, and AWS.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute ETL test cases to validate data completeness, accuracy, and consistency across source, staging, and target systems. Perform data validation, reconciliation, schema checks, row count verification, and transformation testing. Conduct ETL, regression, integration, and backend testing for data pipelines and data warehouse solutions. Write complex SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and defect investigation. Utilize Python or Java for test automation and backend validation activities. Work with AWS cloud-based data platforms and ETL solutions.
