About the role
- Hiring Java Backend Developer for full-time hybrid role in Mississauga, ON. Requires 7+ years Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud experience.
Responsibilities
- We are hiring a Java Backend Developer for a full-time position in Mississauga, ON. The work model is hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week). You will work in an Agile environment, developing and maintaining web services, microservices architecture, and collaborating with stakeholders.
Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience in Java, Spring Boot / Micro services, Spring Boot, Web services (REST/SOAP), DB (Oracle/MongoDB), Microservices architecture (Docker, Kubernetes), Design and Architecture (Micro-services design pattern), Data Structures and Algorithms, Team City, JIRA, Git. Good knowledge of Object Oriented design principles and Java standard library. Hands-on experience with Object Oriented programming and Spring Boot. Experience in agile software development. Knowledge of cloud platforms. Ability to coordinate with different stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
