About the role
- Mainframe Systems Analyst for 12-month contract supporting enterprise mainframe systems, modernization initiatives. Requires strong COBOL, IDMS, and 7+ years mainframe analysis experience.
Responsibilities
- Support and enhance enterprise mainframe production systems. Lead systems analysis, design, and documentation. Gather requirements and drive end-to-end SDLC delivery. Work on modernization and data migration initiatives. Modify code, screens, and reports across legacy platforms.
Requirements
- Strong COBOL development (recent, enterprise-level). Deep experience with IDMS databases (critical). 7+ years in Mainframe Systems Analysis. Hands-on with JCL, TSO/SPF, ADS-Online. Public sector or healthcare systems experience (nice to have). Exposure to mainframe modernization/migration (nice to have). Background in banking, insurance, or large enterprise systems (nice to have).
