About the role
- Hiring Network Security Lead (Checkpoint + Zscaler) for hybrid role in Mississauga, ON. Manage security ops, L3 support, and architecture.
Responsibilities
- We are looking for a Network Security Lead with strong expertise in Checkpoint Firewalls and Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) to manage enterprise security operations, L3 support, and architecture across multiple environments. Key responsibilities include providing L3 support for network/security incidents and outages, managing and optimizing Checkpoint firewall (VPN, IPS, URL filtering), designing and implementing Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) policies, handling authentication, access control, and Zero Trust (ZTNA), working on Cloudflare WAF / Aruba ClearPass (NAC), managing email security (Abnormal AI) and threat investigations, driving automation using Python / PowerShell, leading teams, managing SLAs, and delivering performance reports.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in Checkpoint Firewall (Mandatory), Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX), and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS). Working knowledge of NAC (Aruba ClearPass) OR WAF (Cloudflare), VPN (IPSec / SSL), Zero Trust Architecture. Experience in Security Operations, Incident & Change Management, monitoring, reporting, and SLA tracking. Preferred: Experience with F5 Load Balancer, Email Security tools, Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Certifications: CCSA / CCSE / CCIE (Preferred).
