About the role

Lead Quality Engineering role at Interac: plan and oversee testing, define strategies, and collaborate with Fraud Product and Development teams.

Responsibilities

Plan, lead, and oversee all testing activities including Test Plan and Joint Test Strategy. Provide direction for test targets, test cases, and test coverage. Define test strategy for automated and manual testing. Analyze defect metrics, evaluate QA processes, contribute to sprint/release planning, define automation metrics, develop NFR automation tests, and execute performance testing.

Computer Science Degree or equivalent work experience. 5+ years direct experience in software development with strong, hands-on experience in software automation testing, Performance testing, test case development, test execution, test results analysis, and test optimization. Experience in creation, maintenance and optimization of automation frameworks. Proficiency in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Experience working within a formal CI/CD pipeline. Strong knowledge of C#, JavaScript. Knowledge of Selenium WebDriver. API testing using POST man or similar. Knowledge with web applications architecture, APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases. Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
