About the role
- Scrum Master contract role in Toronto (hybrid). Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach teams on Agile practices, remove impediments, and support Agile transformation.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews & Retrospectives. Coach teams on Agile/Scrum best practices. Remove impediments and manage dependencies. Partner with Product Owners to maintain a prioritized backlog. Track and report Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, predictability). Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams. Support Agile transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments. Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban & Agile frameworks. Experience working with cross-functional tech & business teams. Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills. Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) preferred.
