About the role
- Temporary Security Specialist supporting Microsoft security assessment for public sector client. Hybrid role focusing on security posture improvement and implementation planning.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary technical liaison for Microsoft security assessment initiative including preparation, coordination, and follow-up. Participate in assessment sessions, review findings and recommendations, support internal teams in understanding security gaps, review Microsoft Defender security score, develop implementation plans, track action items, review RBAC configurations, assess Intune security configurations, and identify security gaps with remediation plans.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender and Intune. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Azure RBAC, and role-based access control design. Experience supporting security assessments, audits, or posture reviews. Ability to work with IT and security teams in enterprise environment. Strong communication skills. Degree/diploma in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field. Cybersecurity certifications for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 security preferred.
