About the role
- Senior Data Scientist needed for Wealth Management in Toronto, ON. Lead AI/ML initiatives, drive insights for investment decisions and operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning models. Support portfolio optimization, client segmentation, predictive analytics, and risk analytics. Partner with Wealth Management teams to identify high-value AI use cases. Lead feature engineering, model validation, and experimentation initiatives. Collaborate with Engineering and MLOps teams to operationalize models. Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and responsible AI standards. Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to strategic AI initiatives.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of Data Science or Advanced Analytics experience. Strong ML and statistical modeling expertise. Wealth Management or Investment domain experience. Proficiency in Python and/or R. Experience working with large-scale data platforms and analytics pipelines. Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
