About the role
- Senior ETL Developer role modernizing HR tech infrastructure with Databricks/Informatica/Azure. Design cloud data pipelines, support SaaS integrations, lead migration projects.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze existing data workflows, including Informatica mappings and dependencies. Re-design and develop data pipelines using Azure Databricks notebooks and Azure platform components. Support ongoing SaaS integrations such as file feeds, Single Sign-On (SSO), and third-party vendor connections. Ensure scalability, data integrity, and security throughout migration processes. Lead technical infrastructure design leveraging databases, scripting languages, and testing frameworks. Develop and support current ETL processes with Informatica and other tools. Support and troubleshoot application and data issues during business hours. Conduct code reviews and ensure project alignment with best practices. Mentor intermediate and senior developers, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience with Databricks and Azure cloud technologies. 3-5 years hands-on experience with Informatica development. 5+ years working with Oracle and SQL for data extraction and batch processing. 5+ years Unix scripting experience for file movement and extract generation. 5+ years experience with Autosys or similar job scheduling tools. Strong scripting and programming skills in Python and SQL. Knowledge of data security methods, including PGP encryption and FTPS deployment. Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.
