About the role
- Senior IT Systems Administrator needed for a fully onsite contract in Calgary, supporting VMware, Azure/AWS, and hybrid Microsoft environments. Start date Aug 12, 2026, with potential for permanent conversion.
Responsibilities
- The Resource will provide day-to-day operational support and will be expected to integrate into the environment with minimal onboarding, contributing effectively from day one. The consultant will support three production environments (Corporate, MRCP, and Dividends/OT) consisting of 3 VMware vCenter environments; Approximately 100 Azure/AWS virtual servers, 100 on-premises virtual servers, 20 physical servers; NetApp storage; and Hybrid Microsoft infrastructure.
Requirements
- Must have strong experience in: VMware / vCenter, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online, NetApp Storage, Veeam Backup & Replication, Enterprise server administration, L3 Infrastructure Support, Hybrid infrastructure. Experience with Commvault, Azure Backup, Citrix, Disaster Recovery, and security/compliance activities would be considered strong assets.
