About the role
- Senior Systems Administrator / Tier 3 Support Contractor needed for a 3-month contract in Ontario. Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, and M365 experience required.
Responsibilities
- The contractor will operate as a senior technical resource, supporting day-to-day infrastructure operations, resolving complex Tier 3 escalations, and assisting with ongoing technology initiatives. Responsibilities include infrastructure operations (40%), Tier 3 escalation support (50%), and projects/application support (10%).
Requirements
- Several years of progressively responsible Systems Administration or Infrastructure Support experience; strong Windows Server and Active Directory administration skills; hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365; experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and business-critical systems; demonstrated experience resolving complex Tier 3 technical escalations; strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities; experience working with external technology vendors and managing vendor escalations; experience with patching, monitoring, certificates, and general infrastructure operations; ability to work independently with limited supervision; strong communication skills; ability to document technical issues, resolutions, and operational procedures.
