About the role
- Senior ETL Developer contract in Toronto. Design scalable data lakehouse architectures and complex pipelines using Azure, Databricks, and dbt.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Medallion Data Lakehouse architectures, build and automate complex ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks (PySpark, SQL, Delta Live Tables), and dbt. Integrate structured and unstructured data sources into star/snowflake schemas, implement orchestrated workflows in Azure, and resolve data loading incidents.
Requirements
- 10+ years experience in technical systems specifications and application development; 10+ years in technical analysis, programming, and unit testing; 5+ years SQL; 5+ years Microsoft Azure; 7+ years ETL; expertise in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and dbt.
