About the role
- Sr. Cloud Ops Engineer (GCP) for TOP5 bank. 12-month contract, 3-4 days per week in Toronto. Requires 5+ years cloud/DevOps experience.
Responsibilities
- Senior Cloud Operations Engineer role focusing on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for a major Canadian bank. Responsibilities include cloud infrastructure management, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, container technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting with Python.
Requirements
- 1) 5+ years hands-on technical experience with Cloud Environments (GCP, AWS, Azure) with 1-2 years specifically in GCP. 2) 5+ years in Infrastructure Operations, DevOps or Cloud Engineering Operations. 3) 5+ years with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform HCL. 4) 5+ years with development/scripting languages (Python), container-based technologies, config management tools, and CI/CD tools.
