About the role
- Sr. Control Tester – CPA/CFA needed for regulatory compliance and risk management. Pay rate range (CAD): $56.52/hr – $67.83/hr.
Responsibilities
- Act as the Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) contact within the Governance and Controls team. Support RCM activities including Effectiveness Assessments, Independent Monitoring, and Control Environment Reporting. Collaborate with various Risk Lines of Business (LOBs) to advise on compliance controls and regulatory requirements. Lead and support projects related to control testing, deficiency remediation, audits, and examinations. Report control statuses, KRIs, and compliance metrics to senior management. Develop and maintain strong relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders. Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovative compliance solutions. Assist with business continuity management and risk program support.
Requirements
- 7-8 years of experience in control testing and QA. Extensive understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks and requirements. Strong risk management and control expertise. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills. Ability to analyze data and prepare detailed reports. Proven project management capabilities. Nice to have: CFA, CPA, or CIA certification; MBA degree; experience with the RCM framework and requirements.
