About the role

Responsibilities
- Produce manufacturing, assembly, and installation drawings
- Work with the ERP system (enterprise resource planning) and create bills of materials (BOM)
- Manage the BOM hierarchy/tree
- Design sheet metal parts, cast aluminum components, and welded assemblies
- 3D modeling
- Develop production tools (e.g., jigs/fixtures)
- Ensure compliance with UL, CSA and other standards
- Provide production support.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years' experience with a DEC (Diplôme d'études collégiales) in Mechanical Engineering Technology or other relevant training
- Relevant experience in mechanical engineering drafting (an asset)
- Proficiency in conventional CAD software: AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Familiarity with MS Office and Adobe software
- Ability to visualize and model in 3D
