Responsibilities
Fulfill business intelligence requests in accordance with best practices and tools to present data as meaningful information to help support decision making.
Develop and maintain metrics, visualizations, reports and dashboards to provide the insight business areas need to effectively manage performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Manage business intelligence products through the entire product lifecycle in accordance with best practices.
Analyze data using the most applicable analytical methods and techniques to extract meaning and insight to help customers solve business problems.
Gain and maintain understanding of AER business processes and data.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math or Science related discipline required
3-5 years experience in analytics, business intelligence or data science or a combination of both education and/or experience will be considered
Experience in data gathering, databases, data analysis, and visualization technical skills
Experience with business intelligence software (Tableau, MS SQL Server, MS Excel, Power Apps, Power BI, python)
Experience in artificial intelligence usage for business intelligence purposes
Critical thinker with creative problem-solving skills
Use creative and simple design to enhance data visualization and reports
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Interpersonal skills for the establishment and maintenance of positive working relationships with internal stakeholders.
