About the role

Dayforce Solution Architect overseeing architecture and delivery of comprehensive HCM solutions. Collaborating with clients and teams to implement best practices and innovative AI-powered capabilities.

Responsibilities

Own the architecture of Dayforce solutions across the full project lifecycle
Interpret client business objectives and translate them into actionable solution designs
Design custom extensibility solutions using the Dayforce Extensibility Framework
Design and develop modern integrations through APIs, RESTful services, SOAP, Microservices
Lead solutioning for Dayforce AI modules
Leverage generative AI tools for solution design and documentation
Serve as primary point of contact for clients post-contract signing
Offer best-practice recommendations on custom solutions
Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure overall solution architecture is sound
Lead design and peer reviews, individual and team unit testing, and client QA/UAT support activities
Create and maintain comprehensive solution documentation
Mentor junior and intermediate consultants
Collaborate with Dayforce product teams to identify product gaps and opportunities.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on Dayforce solution architecture experience
Expert understanding of the Dayforce Extensibility Framework
3+ years of experience designing, coding, testing, and documenting modern APIs and middleware
Demonstrated experience solutioning for Dayforce AI modules
Active comfort and proven experience using generative AI tools
Canada and US domain knowledge
Strong consulting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Coaching and/or mentoring experience
Exceptional presentation and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a closely related field; or equivalent professional experience
Ability and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
