About the role
- Dayforce Solution Architect overseeing architecture and delivery of comprehensive HCM solutions. Collaborating with clients and teams to implement best practices and innovative AI-powered capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture of Dayforce solutions across the full project lifecycle
- Interpret client business objectives and translate them into actionable solution designs
- Design custom extensibility solutions using the Dayforce Extensibility Framework
- Design and develop modern integrations through APIs, RESTful services, SOAP, Microservices
- Lead solutioning for Dayforce AI modules
- Leverage generative AI tools for solution design and documentation
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients post-contract signing
- Offer best-practice recommendations on custom solutions
- Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure overall solution architecture is sound
- Lead design and peer reviews, individual and team unit testing, and client QA/UAT support activities
- Create and maintain comprehensive solution documentation
- Mentor junior and intermediate consultants
- Collaborate with Dayforce product teams to identify product gaps and opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Dayforce solution architecture experience
- Expert understanding of the Dayforce Extensibility Framework
- 3+ years of experience designing, coding, testing, and documenting modern APIs and middleware
- Demonstrated experience solutioning for Dayforce AI modules
- Active comfort and proven experience using generative AI tools
- Canada and US domain knowledge
- Strong consulting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Coaching and/or mentoring experience
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a closely related field; or equivalent professional experience
- Ability and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
