About the role
- Allstate Canada auto claims advisor investigating complex automobile claims and determining coverage and liability. Settling claims while collaborating with customers, suppliers, insurers, and law enforcement.
Responsibilities
- Review insurance policy and coverages
- Investigate complex automobile claims, including impaired, unlisted operator, or non-drivable claims, and determine coverage and liability
- Settle claims in accordance with organization’s policies and practices
- Collaborate with customers, service suppliers such as towing companies and repair shops, other insurance companies, and law enforcement
Requirements
- Bilingual in French
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- Adjusting License Level 1 or equivalent
- 1 - 3 years handling complex automobile claims is required
- Knowledge in understanding and interpreting policies
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Proficient keyboard skills and computer literacy
- Enrolled in (or willing to enroll in) CIP designation (bonus qualification)
