About the role
- Claims Advisor managing automobile claims for Allstate Canada. Responsible for resolving claims efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assess and research vehicle values using multiple valuation methods
- Review and analyze documents from internal and external sources related to the vehicle assessment process
- Adhere to and maintain departmental standards and/or KPIs
- Provide superior customer service to policyholders and ensure timely and fair claim settlements
- Other duties as required
Requirements
- A valid AMF license as a claims adjuster
- 3 years of automobile insurance experience and/or 2 years of total-loss experience are considered assets
- Comfortable with insurance policy wording and terminology
- Demonstrated insurance experience and understanding of the field
- Solid understanding of indemnity conventions and claims settlement principles
- Excellent ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Demonstrates strong teamwork, solid negotiation skills, and the ability to make decisions
- Bilingual required: French and English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite
- Understanding of automotive terminology, the vehicle market, and auto damage estimates
- Excellent organizational and negotiation skills
