About the role
- Associate Veterinarian providing racetrack and sports medicine at Elder’s Equine, Manitoba’s premier equine medical facility. Delivering advanced equine care alongside specialists within Altano’s global clinic network.
Responsibilities
- Provide equine veterinary care with a focus on racetrack medicine and sports medicine
- Support all facets of Elder’s Equine’s diverse and growing caseload
- Deliver personalized, compassionate, and cutting-edge medical services
- Collaborate with the five-doctor team, boarded equine surgery and anesthesiology specialists, support staff, and the wider Altano network
- Participate in the shared on-call schedule
- Continue professional development through CE events, VetPD courses, exchange groups, and educational opportunities
Requirements
- Skilled Associate Veterinarian
- Focus or interest in racetrack medicine and sports medicine
- Enjoy all areas of equine medicine
- Experience in all facets of equine medicine to support a diverse and growing caseload
- Foreign candidates fluent in French are eligible for the Francophone mobility work permit
