Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate product labeling information for Elanco products intended for companion and livestock animals
- Conduct complex discussions with external or internal customers to gather or clarify key findings
- Collect and enter case details related to adverse events and/or product complaints into the global pharmacovigilance database
- Assess adverse drug event (ADE) data for accuracy and consistency against source documents, with a focus on compliance and quality
- Participate in collecting case follow-up data, as needed
- Support and collaborate with other teams as required
- Participate in or lead product or procedural training for Elanco internal staff, as needed
- Stay current on industry trends and product launches
- Manage time effectively to ensure reporting deadlines are met
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Canada (in the province of residence)
- Demonstrated experience in veterinary practice and/or previous industry experience in pharmacovigilance or regulatory affairs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written)
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Advanced ability to communicate effectively verbally, particularly when managing conflicts, and in writing
- Ability to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Knowledge of documentation practices and business writing skills
