Responsibilities

  • Support mid-career scholars advancing understanding of Canada’s engagement with the Indo-Pacific
  • Propose research in Economic Security and Trade, Technology and Innovation, Indo-Pacific Geopolitics, Defence Industry, Arctic and Northeast Asia Security
  • Participate in closed-door briefing and present at symposium

Requirements

  • Open to Canadian citizens/permanent residents and U.S. citizens/permanent residents
  • 7–15 years post-PhD (or equivalent policy experience)
  • Political science, economics, public policy, law, business, security studies, or related fields
  • Willingness to participate in public-facing events, media, and collaborative cohort activities

  • Grant: CAD 25,000 (disbursed in two instalments)
