About the role
- Strata Manager overseeing residential strata portfolios for Associa Vancouver, a property management company. Managing client relationships, finances, projects, contractors, meetings, and day-to-day property operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of residential strata complexes
- Onboard new strata complexes as new contracts are confirmed
- Prioritize and conduct business and projects generated by the portfolio in a timely manner
- Manage projects, emergencies, contracts, and contractors generated by the portfolio
- Create meeting agendas and conduct meetings, including some required evening meetings
- Follow up with accurate meeting minutes
- Administer portfolio financial matters, including budgeting, expense analysis, and invoice review and coding
- Manage relationships with strata council clients
- Handle day-to-day operational, maintenance, administrative, and financial management for portfolio properties
Requirements
- A valid Strata Property Management License from BCFSA is required
- Positive, enthusiastic, hands-on approach
- Driven to deliver exceptional client service
- Ability to multitask, balance multiple priorities, meet precise deadlines, and manage client expectations
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Sound knowledge of financial and budget reviews
- Sound knowledge of insurance policies relating to strata corporations
