About the role

  • Electrical Engineer handling design and implementation of road lighting and traffic signals in Quebec. Collaborating in a multidisciplinary environment for major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze client and stakeholder requirements
  • Plan, prepare, and monitor project schedules and budgets
  • Design road lighting systems, traffic signal systems, and low-voltage electrical distribution
  • Lead the various design phases in electrical engineering
  • Supervise technicians' work and coordinate project activities
  • Prepare technical specifications and estimate project costs
  • Oversee construction site supervision and provide technical support to clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • Knowledge of standards from the Quebec Ministry of Transport, Sustainable Mobility and Electrification of Transport (MTQ)
  • Ability to lead electrical projects
  • Proficiency in French (spoken and written)
