Responsibilities
- Support the planning, design, and delivery of highway, roadway, and utility infrastructure projects
- Assist in preparing preliminary and detailed design drawings, technical reports, and engineering memos
- Support the design of highways, roadways, utility relocations, grading, and drainage
- Coordinate with internal project teams, clients, contractors, and external stakeholders
- Participate in field investigations, data collection, and analysis
- Develop design drawings and models using tools such as OpenRoads or AutoCAD Civil 3D
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience
- Proficiency in CAD tools, preferably MicroStation, OpenRoads/InRoads, or AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Understanding of highway, road, and/or utility design principles
- Familiarity with municipal and/or provincial standards, including MTO, is an asset
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
