About the role

Développeur Analyste participant à des projets d’indemnisation au sein de l’équipe TI chez Beneva. Collaborant avec divers partenaires, il développe des solutions tout en suivant les meilleures pratiques.

Responsibilities

Develop and adapt solutions according to Beneva's requirements and current best practices
Participate in initiatives to optimize, improve performance, and secure applications and processes
Analyze and resolve reported issues to ensure continuity of operations
Maintain solutions
Deploy to production
Produce technical documentation for developed solutions
Perform various tests (functional, performance, etc.) to validate the stability, security, and quality of newly developed features
Participate in functional and technical analysis of solutions as required
Actively contribute to development team activities (code reviews, Agile ceremonies, leadership meetings, etc.)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in software development
Strong experience in object-oriented programming, Java and the Spring Framework
Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud technologies
Familiarity with source control tools Git and GitHub
SQL skills
Familiarity with continuous integration and build tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, etc.
Experience in test automation: JUnit/GUnit, JMeter, BDD, Selenium, etc.
Ability to work in an Agile environment (SCRUM / Kanban)
Proficiency in the Gosu language and the development tools related to Guidewire ClaimCenter (an asset)
Experience in the insurance industry (an asset)
Proficiency in French, both spoken and written, and a working knowledge of English (an asset), both spoken and written
