About the role
- Senior .NET Engineer building and modernizing healthcare integrations at AI and automation consultancy Bits In Glass. Developing secure C# applications across modern and legacy .NET systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain C# APIs and web applications
- Work across modern .NET and legacy ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC codebases
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code throughout implementation and code review
- Contribute to system integration and legacy modernization initiatives
- Implement security monitoring features, including sensitive-data access alerts, across production web applications
- Build and maintain automated regression test coverage
- Collaborate with client engineering teams on code reviews, CI/CD, and production releases
Requirements
- Senior-level, full-stack .NET engineering experience
- Software architecture experience
- Strong hands-on experience with C# APIs and web application development
- Working knowledge of legacy ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC
- Recent, active experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or similar
- Experience with ASP.NET Core and recent .NET versions
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with SQL Server or Oracle
- Ability to write or maintain automated regression tests, such as Playwright
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Private, dedicated workspace with secure internet
- Experience with Kafka, Change Data Capture patterns, or event-driven architecture preferred
- Healthcare or highly regulated industry background preferred
- Experience modernizing legacy websites/applications preferred
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap preferred
