About the role
- Senior .NET Engineer building and modernizing healthcare software integrations for Bits In Glass. Developing C# APIs, security monitoring, and automated tests across modern and legacy .NET systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain C# APIs and web applications
- Work across modern .NET and legacy ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC codebases
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code throughout implementation and code review
- Contribute to system integration and legacy modernization initiatives
- Implement security monitoring features, including sensitive-data access alerts, across production web applications
- Build and maintain automated regression test coverage
- Collaborate with client engineering teams on code reviews, CI/CD, and production releases
Requirements
- Senior-level, full-stack .NET engineer with software architecture experience
- Strong hands-on experience with C# APIs and web application development
- Working knowledge of legacy ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC
- Recent, active experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or similar
- Experience with ASP.NET Core and recent .NET versions
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with SQL Server or Oracle
- Comfortable writing or maintaining automated tests such as Playwright
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Able to work from a private, dedicated workspace with secure internet
- Experience with Kafka, Change Data Capture (CDC) patterns, or event-driven architecture is nice to have
- Background in healthcare or other highly regulated industries is nice to have
- Experience modernizing legacy websites/applications is nice to have
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap is nice to have
