About the role
- BMO Commercial Banking associate supporting client service, lending processes, and portfolio management. Handling transactions, reporting, escalations, and relationship management for commercial clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily operational service support and exceptional client experiences
- Resolve client problems, transactional requests, escalations and investigations
- Engage with clients to assess needs and effectiveness of issue resolutions
- Publish regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards
- Direct clients to relevant products, services and resources
- Contribute to new product or service development using client insights and market analysis
- Collect and analyze client feedback to identify service gaps and improve operational performance
- Ensure client interactions, documentation and issue resolutions comply with bank policies, regulations and internal controls
- Complete complex and diverse tasks and handle escalations
- Analyze issues and determine next steps
- Apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework and make risk-informed decisions aligned with business strategy and approved risk appetite
Requirements
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in Client Relationship, Financial Services or Service Excellence in a corporate or banking environment is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Business Administration, Finance or Marketing preferred
- Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered
