About the role

Junior Engineer managing infrastructure development for BMO's electronic trading. Involving in server and network setups for improved performance.

Responsibilities

Provide practical experience of creating the infrastructure (Servers & Networks)
Learn about how we build these environments, connect to customers and exchanges, and optimize for performance
Takes a holistic approach to the full end-to-end software development cycle
Harnesses open source, enterprise and cloud technologies
Develops Proof-of-Concepts to evaluate feasibility of software applications and tools
Conducts system tests to ensure optimum data security, availability, and performance
Investigates and resolves technical issues, provides technical support, performs root cause analysis for production errors
Builds tools to improve customer experience and develops software to integrate with internal back-end systems
Creates and implements automation to different phases of the DevOps pipeline
Designs and documents procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
